Last week I was stoked for the release of the Apple tablet, which we now know as the iPad. The iPad is quite the sexy machine, I’ll give it that. But the sexiness of the iPad comes at the cost of functionality. The iPad is not the powerful and fully functional device I had hoped for. Instead the iPad is essentially an oversized iPhone, that cannot make calls, without usb, Flash, or a camera. I love my iPhone, but I love my Macbook a whole lot more because it can experience the web as it was meant to be seen. 342 movies. 7 minutes. HD. This is Cinema 2009.
This video is the product of 12 Months of Hard Work from editor and YouTube user Kees van Dijkhuizen. Although only uploaded a week ago the video has already over 400,000 views and is well on its way to viral status. Kees has an eerily blue avatar for his YouTube profile picture, within which he is wearing a Santa hat. Although I have certainly seen better Avatars I feel that Kees more than makes up for this shortcoming with the exceptional video below.
