Twitter recently added a new addition to the goodies section of their website, featuring official twitter buttons. Twitter buttons are a welcome addition to the goodies section, which has for some time included only some of the more popular twitter applications, and customizable status and list widgets. An example of a custom list widget can be seen in the sidebar to the right.

Twitter is a Powerful Platform for communication. Part of the reason that Twitter has been so successful is because they have built a developer friendly API that allows developers to build powerful Twitter apps, and fast. Below I list the most powerful ways to engage with Twitter that I am aware of.
